They continue unabated Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip. According to IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari the Israeli military has carried out two major airstrikes on Hamas underground infrastructure in recent days.

In one of them, several senior Hamas commanders were hiding, including Ahmed Ghadour, the commander of Hamas’s northern brigade in Gaza, and Ayman Siam, the head of Hamas’ rocket launcher, Haggari claims.

In yet another underground location, Haggari claims senior members of the Hamas politburo were hiding, including Rawi Mustaha, Essam al-Dalis and Sameh al-Shiraj.

“Hamas is trying to hide the results of the raids”, underlines Hagari who, as he said, could not give more details about the raids, but indicated that “he can say with certainty that the basement where they were was very badly damaged.”
