As the Princess of Wales entered Buckingham Palace for the formal dinner in his honor President of South Korea, Yoon Sun-yo, eyes fell on the tiara she was wearing for the first time.
This is the Strathmore Rose tiara, which had not been worn for nearly a century reports ‘The Court Jeweler’. It had been bought from a dealer in April 1923 in London and was a gift from Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon’s parents for her wedding to Prince Albert – later King George VI.
