A while ago it became known from the Israeli army that the hostages released from Gaza are now in Israel and have undergone a medical check.
“The freed hostages underwent a first medical check-up inside Israeli territory. IDF soldiers will continue to accompany them as they are transported to Israeli hospitals, where they will be reunited with their families,” the military said.
Earlier, Red Cross vehicles transported the hostages from Gaza to Rafah as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) earlier confirmed that its teams had launched a multi-day operation to facilitate the release and transfer of hostages held in Gaza and Palestinians prisoners.
A total of 24 hostages, 13 Israelis, 10 Thais and one Filipino, were freed by Hamas today and handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the Gaza Strip, while Israel released 39 women and children held in its prisons, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
The release of Thai nationals is not part of the Israel-Hamas deal. They were released today under a separate deal brokered by Qatar and Egypt with Hamas, said an official with knowledge of the talks, who added that the hostages were all men and were not covered by the ceasefire agreement with Israel referring only to women and children. The separate negotiating line was opened when Thailand’s foreign minister visited Qatar on Oct. 31, leading to a special deal with Hamas to free the Thais, the official added.

Under the terms of the four-day Israel-Hamas truce, 50 women and children hostages are to be released in four days, in exchange for 150 Palestinian women and children among thousands held in Israeli jails.
Nine hours after a ceasefire came into effect for the first time in seven weeks, the Red Cross announced that the operation to transfer the hostages from Gaza to Israel had begun.
The twenty-four hostages were taken from Gaza and handed over to Egyptian authorities at the Rafah border crossing, accompanied by eight staff members of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in a four-car convoy, the ICRC said.
