Has Israel reached an agreement in principle with Elon Musk not to activate internet services? offered by Starlink satellites to Gaza without the prior approval of the Israeli government.

Last month, Musk proposed that Starlink provide support to “internationally recognized humanitarian organizations” in the region.

Israel’s Communications Minister, Shlomo Karhi, wrote on Platform X that Starlink satellites will be able to operate in Israel and the Gaza Strip only after approval from the Communications Ministry.

He called the deal with Musk “vital” for those who want a “better world, free of evil and free of anti-Semitism, for the sake of our children.”

Musk arrived in Tel Aviv this morning to meet Netanyahu and Israeli President Isaac Herzog, according to Israeli media.

Herzog’s office announced before the meeting that it would “stress the need to take action to combat growing anti-Semitism on the Internet.”

An uproar erupted a few days ago when Musk agreed on the X platform with an anti-Semitic comment from another user, which also caused a reaction from the White House.

The user claimed that Jews promote hatred against whites.

Musk commented that the user was telling the “absolute truth.”
