There will be no meeting between him US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) conference this week, Russian news agency TASS reported, citing Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov’s remarks today.

Responding to a question during the ‘Pimakov Readings’ foreign policy forum, Ryabkov reportedly stated that Washington did not request a meeting “and he won’t ask for one. And there will be no meeting there.”

THE Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrovf said today that he will attend the OSCE conference in North Macedonia if Bulgaria opens its airspace to the Russian delegation and that some Western countries have asked to meet with him. Lavrov did not say which countries requested meetings with him.

Lavrov said North Macedonia had invited him to attend the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) foreign ministers’ conference, which includes Canada and the United States, to be held in Skopje from November 30 to December 1st.
