“Suspect located and dead,” Las Vegas police say – Initial reports say six injured, one dead
Alert in the US. An unknown assailant opened fire in the square of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with the first reports talking about six injured and one victim.
“The suspect has been located and is deadLas Vegas police said in a new message.
According to testimonies, police officers exchanged fire with the unidentified assailant inside the university premises.
However, the university asked the students and staff of the institution to remain hidden where they have taken shelter.
University of Nevada spokeswoman Deanna Titus earlier issued a statement to X, saying that staff at the institution are closely monitoring the situation.
