Although as a woman she relishes her title, Dr. Naito has one major complaint: she claims that many patients do not trust her and doubt her abilities because of her incredible appearance.

“Throughout my long career I’ve had some frustrating situations where I’ve been criticized simply because I’m an attractive woman who’s a doctor,” said Dr. Naito.
“I’ve had many patients express concern about my appearance, as being attractive somehow diminishes my credibility as a doctor,” she confessed.
