A Russian drone attack in the Odesa region (south) injured 11 people, including three children, Ukraine’s emergency services announced in the early hours of the morning.

Via Facebook, they reported that a car and an industrial facility caught fire, while a total of eleven buildings were damaged.

Five people were taken to hospitals, according to the statement, which did not specify where exactly the attacks took place.

Earlier, the head of the military administration of the Odesa region, Oleh Kiper, reported that a man who was being treated in a hospital succumbed to the injuries he suffered in an attack the day before.

At the same time, Russia says that 9 Ukrainian drones were shot down.

Russian air defense systems shot down two Ukrainian remote-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles in the Moscow region overnight Wednesday into Thursday, the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sabianin, said, adding that there were no casualties or material damage.

The Russian news agency RIA, for its part, reported, citing the Ministry of Defense, that a total of 9 Ukrainian drones were destroyed in the Moscow region and the neighboring Kaluga region.
