A California court on Friday dismissed a lawsuit against American actor Warren Beatty for sexually assaulting a teenage girl on the set of a movie in 1973.

The plaintiff Christina Charlotte Hirsch claimed that at the age of 14-15 she met the then 35-year-old actor. Warren Beatty “took advantage of his position” as an adult and Hollywood star to coerce the plaintiff — who was a minor at the time — into “sexual contact” with him, the complaint said.

A judge in Beverly Hills dismissed the suit, noting that the plaintiff did not present sufficient evidence during the hearing.

The lawsuit was filed in 2022, after California law provides for a statute of limitations on sexual assault cases.

Warren Beatty, now 86 years old, lived in the golden age of Hollywood and in his multi-year career was also a director (Oscar winner in 1982), screenwriter and film producer. A sought-after bachelor until 1992 when he married Annette Bening, 21 years his junior, with whom he had four children, Warren Beatty had countless beauties by his side, including Julie Christie, Brigitte Bardot, Vivien Leigh, Jackie Kennedy and the Madonna.
