Rather… nausea-inducing shocking videos showing the storm faced by Norwegian cruise ship in the North Sea.

The cruise ship, with 400 people on board in total, loses the fight with Nature, reminiscent of a “game”, with a huge wave “getting the final blow”, interrupting the electricity supply.

The UK-bound MS Maud, owned by HX of Norway’s Hurtigruten group, was sailing about 162 miles from the west coast of Denmark and about 217 miles from the east coast of Britain when the wave broke the windows on the bridge .

With the power outage, the crew lost the ability to navigate. However, the ship’s main engine was still running, allowing the vessel to be steered manually from the engine room.

The ship’s 266 passengers and 131 crew members are safe, a spokesman for the Danish Rescue Coordination Center (DJRC) confirmed, and it is being towed to a port in Germany.

The MS Maud had embarked on a 14-day cruise and was due to return to Essex port on 23 December. It sailed from Floroe in Norway on Thursday and was due to sail to Tilbury in Britain on Friday.
