Secret court documents are expected to be made public, according to a judge’s order. The documents reportedly include Kinton’s name more than 50 times, according to ABC News.
Former US President Bill Clintonis expected to be identified as one of the unknowns (“John Doe 36”) in soon-to-be-released classified court documents related to accused child trafficking and abuser Jeffrey Epstein.
The documents are expected to be released this week, the New York Post reports.
Clinton, now 77, is mentioned more than 50 times in documents filed against Epstein in 2015, according to ABC News.
Many of the references to Clinton are believed to stem from the prosecutor’s efforts to get the former president to testify against Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
The documents are not expected to implicate Clinton in any illegal activity, ABC said.
The names of more than 170 people with ties to Epstein are expected to be released after Manhattan federal judge Loretta Preska ruled just before Christmas that they will be unsealed in the new year.
Due to the New Year holiday, the documents are expected to be released from today, January 2.
Clinton had said he cut ties with Epstein in 2005 after the latter was accused of bringing underage girls to his Palm Beach home for sex massages.
Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in 2019 in a US prison while facing charges of trafficking and abusing minors.
