Times are tough for Marvel actress Carrie Bernans as she was hit by a car while celebrating New Year’s in New York.
The images that have been published show the extent of the actress’ injuries which, although not life-threatening, reflect the difficult adventure she had on a day of celebration and joy.
Images released by her mother show Carrie Bernans being treated in hospital covered in blood. He says Carrie was walking with a friend when they stopped at a food truck and a car crashed into it, knocking the woman unconscious and under the vehicle’s wheels.
Carrie, who was in the movies “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Endgame”, she has broken bones and fractures while her mouth is bloody and her teeth are broken.
The crash at West 34th Street and 9th Avenue was so severe, it was designated a mass casualty incident as three NYPD officers were injured among nine civilians.
Officers were called to the scene around 1:40am. of Monday and the driver, a 44-year-old man, he is now in custody at Bellevue Hospital.
According to information, before the car fell on the pedestrians, it was running to escape the pursuit by the police.
