“I urge Israelis not to travel to Turkey, not to buy Turkish products and not to financially support the Turks,” said Itamar Ben Gvir
Israel’s Minister of National Security and leader of the far-right party Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) Itamar Ben Gvir sharply attacked Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Monday over the arrest of Israeli soccer player Sagiv Yehezkel in Turkey. The player was eventually released.
The Israeli minister called Tayyip Erdogan “totally Nazi”, and urged Israelis to boycott anything Turkish.
“Turkey is acting against Israeli players and anything that is even remotely Israeli, with Nazism. Erdogan is a complete Nazi. I urge the Israelis not to travel to Turkey, not to buy Turkish products and not to support them (the Turks) financially”, wrote Ben Gvir on his page on the X social network.
“The State of Israel and the Israeli Citizens they should show no mercy to Turkey. We will not allow ourselves to be trampled upon” Ben Gvir added.
