Miley, who has been compared to former US President Donald Trump for his positions and “unfiltered” style, did not hesitate to denounce “radical feminism” or “the bloody abortion agenda”, “harmful ideas that have settled into our societies”.
For Argentina he laid out his “model based on the fundamental values of libertarianism: the defense of life, liberty and property”.
During his speech, Argentina’s head of state focused on the role of the state in a wide range of activities, which he argued amounts to a lever of control and does not allow citizens the freedom to develop through their own efforts.
Addressing the businessmen, he said: “don’t allow yourself to be bullied by vermin who live solely off the State”, “don’t surrender to the advance of the State, which is not a solution but the problem”.
“You are heroes” and “you can count on Argentina as your absolute ally,” he also declared.
Ahead of his speech, Miley met with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron and is expected to hold a one-on-one meeting with International Monetary Fund chief Kristalina Georgieva after Argentina reached a technical deal last week on a debt bailout. its $44 billion program with the IMF.
En route to Switzerland on a commercial flight, Millay said he would attend the World Economic Forum to “cultivate the idea of freedom in a forum contaminated by the socialist 2030 agenda.”
He did not explain exactly what he meant, but the United Nations’ 2030 agenda for sustainable development is seen by a section of the American far-right as an anti-poverty plan that aims to curtail individual freedoms.
