The Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloniin an interview on a program of the private TV channel Rete Quattro, of the Berlusconi groupdeclared tonight that “she will decide at the last minute, when the ballots should be closed, whether she will be a candidate in the European elections”.

“If the citizens vote for me on European elections, they will know that I am finally going to choose my seat in the Italian Parliament. However, if they want to express their support with their vote, it is anyway a sign of democracy,” added the head of the Italian government.

“I want Italy to count more. With a foreign policy that is characterized by respect for its interlocutors and with the necessary courage to say things by their name”, he underlined the president of the Brothers of Italy.

In response to a related question, Meloni stated that “the Stability Pact it is not the ideal compromise he desired but it is, after all, the best possible compromise” and that “the alternative would be a return to the old parameters, certainly worse”.

Georgia Meloni, finally, and with reference to the case of the prosecutor’s investigation against the “influencer” Chiara Ferranistated that “next Thursday the cabinet will approve a measure according to which in commercial activities – and in those related to charitable purposes – on the packaging of the product sold, it must be explicitly stated to whom the money will be given, and what exactly percentage will actually end up supporting charitable initiatives.
