The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine accused today the Serbian actor Milos Bikovicwho will star in the new season of the hit series “The White Lotus” (“The White Lotus”), that it supports Russia “since the beginning of the invasion”, in a message addressed to the American television network HBO.

“Milos Biković, a Serbian actor who has supported Russia since the start of the massive invasion, is set to star in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus“, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter).

The HBO announced a few days ago that Milos Biković will join the cast of the series’ new cycle of episodes. Filming is expected to begin in February in Thailand, Variety reports.
So far, there is no reaction from HBO to the protest of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
Milos Bikovic, who has starred in several Russian films, received Russian citizenship by presidential decree on February 24, 2021, a year before the start of the invasion of Ukraine.
