Earlier in the day, Houthi-controlled media reported that US and British warplanes launched 15 airstrikes in Saada and Hodeidah provinces on Sunday night.
New airstrikes took place today in Yemen’s Hodeida port, the bystander transmits to Houthi Al Masirah TV station attributing the strikes to US and British forces. According to Al Masirah TV, civilians were injured and several of them were taken to hospitals.
Earlier in the day, Houthi-controlled media reported that US and British warplanes launched 15 airstrikes in Saada and Hodeidah provinces on Sunday night. It was preceded by a 48-hour pounding of the capital Sanaa and other areas of Yemen controlled by the Houthis.
The attacks by US and British forces against the Houthis are aimed at limiting the threat the Iranian-backed rebels pose to international shipping.
The Houthis say they attack commercial ships bound for Israel or linked to Israeli interests in order to pressure an end to Israeli military operations against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
