In 2004, two women founded OneTaste in San Francisco, a “school” for women’s “sexual wellness,” with classes in yoga and Buddhist meditation practices “to make orgasm, connection, and sensuality more sustainable.”

In the following years, the business flourished and attracted thousands of women, even famous ones, such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Khloe Kardashian, who supported OneTaste – even with compensation.

But today, according to the NYPost, the two entrepreneurs Nicole Daedone, 56, and her former CEO, Rachel Cherwitz, 43, are facing justice, with serious charges such as founding a cult, sexually abusing workers and she was driving her customers-fans into bankruptcy.

The FBI investigation began in November 2018 following allegations of rape, sexual abuse and manipulation.

The two women were arrested in June 2023 and are accused of preying on vulnerable consumers by promising “sexual trauma healing” and then forcing faculty members into debt to pay for the lessons.

Daedone is also accused of withholding wages from employees and subjecting them to “financial, sexual, emotional and psychological abuse, surveillance, indoctrination and intimidation”.

If convicted in Los Angeles, they could face years in prison.

They are also being sued in federal court in Manhattan by a former employee who accuses them of sex-trafficking her in order to win OneTaste customers.
