About 100 representatives of the hostages flew to The Hague today, Wednesday, to file a lawsuit for “crimes against humanity” at the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Hamas, reports AFP.

One hundred and thirty hostages remain captive in Gazaaccording to Israeli officials. Twenty-nine of them are believed to be dead.

Haim Rubinstein of the Hostage and Missing Families Forum said that the campaign group will file a case against Hamas leaders at the International Criminal Court. The International Court of Justice is the only independent court in the world established to investigate the most serious crimes, such as genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

“We are the families of the hostages who went through and are still going through this terrible hell”, Rubinstein said on television from Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. “We will bring charges against members of Hamas and their associates and ensure they pay the heaviest price for the crimes against humanity they continue to commit.”

“This is not just our story. If we don’t stop this, tomorrow will be the history of the whole world”said Ofri Bibas, whose brother is one of the prisoners in Gaza. “The entire human race must stand together against a global army of terror, of which Hamas is only one unit in its mission”he said before boarding a flight to The Hague.
