A merchant ship with a crew of six sank this morning in the Sea of Marmara, south of Istanbul, Turkish authorities announced.
The 69-meter-long merchant ship, which was carrying dry cargo, issued a distress signal shortly after 06:30 (local time, 05:30 Greek time) while it was off the island of Imrali, which is about 50 kilometers off its coast. Istanbul, pointed out the Turkish Ministry of Transport.
This morning at 06.30 in the Marmara Sea, Bursa Karacabey, there were 6 murettes in Batuhan A, the name of a commercial geminin that started to swim due to heavy weather and sea conditions.

According to authorities, the Turkish-flagged merchant ship stopped transmitting at 07:12 local time.
