In Italy, spots of the Ministry of Transport, which are aimed at young people, have caused a sensation, with the aim of underlining the importance of careful and safe driving.

The spots emphasize, mainly, how dangerous it is to drive while looking at the mobile phone or using soft drugs.

Italy’s Minister of Transport, however, Matteo Salvini, as well as his colleagues, did not notice something basic: that the protagonists were not wearing seat belts.

Something that was underlined, however, by internet users and the Italian press, often with scathing comments. The director of the TV spots said that some changes will be made soon so that the road safety message is clearer and without the possibility of misinterpretation.
