Hezbollah says it can build precision-guided missiles and drones

by

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said today that for the first time his organization had the ability to convert thousands of rockets into precision-guided missiles and build drones inside Lebanon.

“We have been making drones in Lebanon for a long time and whoever wants to buy them, let them place an order,” Nasrallah said in a televised speech.

Iranian experts have helped Hezbollah turn rockets into precision-guided missiles, Nasrallah said, adding that his organization had also increased its drone capabilities, which had led to a reduction in Israeli drone overflights.

A few days ago, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gandz signed an order to seize the assets of three Lebanese companies that allegedly supplied Hezbollah with materials for the manufacture of precision-guided missiles.

Gandz, meanwhile, has vowed to continue providing humanitarian assistance to Lebanese civilians, in parallel with “decisive action” on Iran’s precision-guided missile program in the “heart” of Lebanon.
