A video of the dramatic moments they lived the six aboard the helicopter who escaped the crash by hanging from a bridge in Colombia came to light through Bell 206.
The tourist helicopter that was only supposed to be in the air for 12 minutes to take passengers to a dinner party lost control, crashed and got stuck on the side of a high-rise building in Medellin on Monday. All six occupants miraculously survived.
In the video, one of the passengers, 36-year-old Francisco Salas, can be heard making a video call to his father, while at the same time trying not to move because the slightest weight shift could be fatal.
“Dad we went down with the helicopter. We are very high. I love you, thank you for protecting me. I will survive, dad,” the 36-year-old can be heard saying.

The helicopter can be seen in the video below to move uncontrollably and fall but at the last moment hung onto the bridge.
