Shipments included 35,000 meals – Joe Biden pledged aid after 117 killed and hundreds injured by Israeli fire during food distribution in Gaza
The US armed forces carried out today from the air the first drop of humanitarian aid supplies to Gauzeas two US officials said.
The three C-130s reportedly took off from the US base in Qatar, where aid for the Palestinians had been concentrated.
The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the drops of the aid cargo were made by three C-130 transport aircraft.
The loads included 35,000 meals, which, of course, are not enough in the slightest, as the displaced and homeless Palestinians from the Israeli army operation are estimated at at least 1.5 million people.
US President Joe Biden had pledged to send aid to the Palestinians after Israeli fire on a mission to distribute food and water to Gaza left at least 117 people dead and hundreds injured.
