Diplomatic crisis between Moscow and Berlin. The German ambassador in Moscow, Alexander Graf Lambsdorff, was summoned today to the Russian Foreign Ministry, following the publication by Russian media recorded confidential conversations of high-ranking officers of the German armed forces regarding arms deliveries to Ukraine.

In the alleged telephone conversation German Air Force officers are heard discussing weapons for Ukraine and a possible Kiev strike on a bridge in Crimea, with Taurus long-range cruise missiles, prompting Russian officials to demand an explanation.

Germany’s defense minister Boris Pistorius accused yesterday sunday Russia that it conducts “information warfare” which aims to cause division in his country, in his first reaction after the publication in Russia of this recorded conversation of high-ranking German officers.

Germany is preparing for war with Russia, Russian Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev claimed in a post on Telegram.
