Tate was arrested following European arrest warrants issued by the United Kingdom
Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan were re-arrested in Romania following European arrest warrants issued by the UK, his spokesman said.
Tate faces felony charges, including sexual assault, committed between 2012 and 2015.
The Tate brothers “vehemently deny all allegations,” the statement said.
Romanian police said European arrest warrants for sexual offenses for the two men were issued by British authorities on Monday.
Tate is also accused of human trafficking in Great Britain, the Romanian police statement said. The two men were presented to the prosecutor of the Bucharest Court of Appeal, who ordered their detention for 24 hours.
A spokesman for the social media influencer said the court would decide on Tuesday whether to “carry out the order”.
According to him, the two brothers “unequivocally reject all the accusations and express deep disappointment that such serious allegations are being made again without substantial new evidence”, the statement reads.
