Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyspeaking today to French TV station BFMreported on Russian missile attack on Odessa a few days ago, while the Greek Prime Minister was visiting,Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Zelensky referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin saying: “You have to be sick to hit a cruise missile a few hundred meters from the Greek prime minister.”

Specifically, a BFM journalist asked the Ukrainian president the following question: “Last week, when you were in Odessa at the side of the Greek prime minister, a missile strike occurred a few hundred meters away from you. Do you think Putin tried to kill you?’

In response, Zelensky said: “Did he mean to throw at me or did he have another intention? I don’t think it matters today”

“That which is truly a disgrace”the Ukrainian President continued, is “that we are at war against Russia and when we welcome the leader of another country, an EU member state, and you attempt something that can be dangerous and strike with a cruise missile within a few hundred meters of this leader, I think you must be really sick.’

“And as you ask me the question what are Putin’s goals i think he is someone who has lost touch with the real world. I believe that [στόχος του] is the destruction by all means of Ukraine and everything that is alive in Ukraine” concluded the Ukrainian president.
