London warns of Russian “misinformation”

The British government has issued a new warning against the “misinformation” tactics used by Moscow, on the occasion of the allegations of provocations in Dobas in order to create a pretext for invading Ukraine.

Speaking to Times Radio, Undersecretary of State Damian Heinz said the West must “shuffle” against Russian misinformation.

“One form is misleading provocative attacks. There are other forms of misinformation. The Putin regime is a world leader in the development of misinformation and its wider counterparts. We must fight against them. “We need to understand what is coming, what could be presented as some kind of false justification for an attack, for an invasion, and not take everything they say so lightly,” Heinz said.

In another interview with Sky News, the British Undersecretary of State reiterated that there was no evidence that Russian troops had left the border with Ukraine. “The threat is there,” he warned. “It may be imminent (the invasion) or it may take a little longer. We are facing a regime that may choose the moment, but we must stand strong, shoulder to shoulder with our friends in Ukraine.”

Meanwhile, as announced tonight, there will be a new communication between the British Prime Minister Johnson and the American President Biden to discuss the situation regarding Ukraine.
