Moscow is officially now in a “state of war” and this is happening “because of the intervention of the West on the side of Ukraine, said Peskov
Russia admits it is “in a state of war”, according to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, after Moscow insisted on presenting the attack on Ukraine as a “special military operation” while rejecting the word “war”.
Furthermore the Kremlin blames the “state of war” on “Western intervention on the side of Ukraine”.
“We are in a state of war. Yes, this started as a special military operation, but from the moment this gang was formed, when the collective West intervened in all this on the side of Ukraine, for us, it became a war. I am convinced and everyone should realize that”says o Peskov in an interview with Argoumenty I Fakty.
Moscow must “fully liberate” the “new territories” to guarantee the safety of the people there, the Kremlin spokesman says, referring to the regions of eastern Ukraine Luhansk and Donetsk, and southern Ukraine Zaporizhia and Kherson, which it partially occupied after its invasion of Ukraine, then declaring their annexation.
The annexation is an illegal land grab and Ukraine will not stop until all Russian forces are expelled from these lands, answers the Kyiv.
