Ukraine: Wild wood live on show – Punches between journalist and pro-Russian politician – Watch video

by

Shocking images were recorded live on a Ukrainian television studio when a journalist attacked a pro-Russian politician who did not want to condemn Vladimir Putin during a period of tension between Moscow and Kiev.

The shocking quarrel broke out between the pro-Russian MP Nestor Sufritz and the journalist Yuri Butusov.

The journalist punched the pro-Russian politician and beheaded him in front of former Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and former President Petro Poroshenko during a discussion about Vladimir Putin.

The politician was attacked by the journalist, after he refused to condemn Vladimir Putin, as Russian troops are gathering at the Ukrainian border for a possible invasion.

The journalist approached the MP and hit him in the face, causing him to hit. The MP got up to counterattack and the two of them fell to the floor, before the journalist shook his head at the politician. Terrified, the other guests of the show begged them to stop. Eventually the two parted ways and continued the discussion on the show.

Sufritz was asked if Putin was a murderer and a criminal. He declined to comment, saying only that “this is something that the Ukrainian authorities should address.”

Former President Poroshenko criticized his response, calling it a “Russian agent in the studio.”
