Donald Trump has been charged with inciting violence after a video was posted on his website Truth Social on Friday showing an image of President Biden with his hands and feet tied together.

The video shows two moving trucks with flags from the Trump campaign with the back door of the second vehicle bearing Mr Biden’s image.

The grisly images, the New York Times reports, targeting people Trump considers his enemies are often circulated online among his right-wing supporters and pro-Trump groups, and in some cases have been shown at conservative conventions.

Photos of trucks with similar images of Biden tied up have been shared on social media with Trump supporters even selling similar images.

Trump’s promotion of the video of the image reflects the increasingly heated personal attacks he has launched against Mr. Biden.

Biden’s staff accused Trump of “regularly inciting political violence” ahead of the November election.
