William and Harry could finally “raise the white flag” by ending the most serious in-law feud ever recorded in the history of the British royal family but Meghan is still standing in the way, a royal journalist believes.

The estranged siblings could make up for lost time on the sidelines with the serious health problems facing both King Charles and Princess Kate, he concludes.

However, it has been argued that Meghan could still be an obstacle to mending their relationship.

According to reports, William and Kate “extended an olive branch” to the Sussexes, inviting them and their children to the UK.

Richard Fitzwilliams told the Sun that the rumors could neither be verified nor denied at the moment, but that “unexpected developments” could happen as early as next week.

The editor previously hinted that a “reconciliation” could be possible when Harry visits the UK in May to mark the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games.
