Attack with three ballistic missiles and a drone received yesterday Greek-owned ship with Maltese flag sailing the Red Sea.

According to what US Central Command announced, the attack took place between 10:00 am. and 5:20 p.m. (Sanaa time) on April 29, when Iran-backed Houthi terrorists launched three anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) and three UAVs from Yemen into the Red Sea towards MV Cyclades.

Initial reports indicate that there were no injuries and the ship continued its course.

Earlier, at 7:49 a.m., US Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces destroyed an airborne unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) launched by the Houthis on a flight path towards the USS Philippine Sea and the USS Laboon in the Red Sea. There were also no reported injuries or damage to US, coalition or merchant vessels.

The UAV was determined to pose an imminent threat to US, coalition and merchant ships in the area. These actions are taken to protect freedom of navigation and to make international waters safer and more secure for US, coalition, and merchant vessels.
