Invasion of Ukraine: Eight killed in Russian bombing

The planet has been watching the Russian invasion of Ukraine since dawn, as just hours after Putin’s speech, the first casualties from Russian bombings across the country are a fact.

Adviser to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, announced that at least eight people have been killed and nine have been injuredfrom the bombing of Russian forces in Ukraine.

The invasion of Ukraine is carried out from different sides.

Russian military convoys crossed the Ukrainian border – mainly through the annexed Crimean peninsula and entered Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Luhansk. The announcement was made by the Ukrainian border guard who posted a video showing vehicles bearing the letter “Z”.

Meanwhile, pro-Russian separatist rebels in eastern Ukraine claim to have shot down two Ukrainian Air Force aircraft.

The Ukrainians woke up in a state of war this morning.

Early in the morning, martial law was imposed on the country, following the start of the Russian intervention.

In the Kiev the sirens of the bombings sounded and thousands of civilians tried to flee to shelters, creating traffic jams and queues of kilometers of cars on the streets.

Many have taken refuge in underground metro stations.

The President of the country, Volodymyr Zelensky, called on the Ukrainians not to panic, while he promised the “victory” over the Russian forces.

There is great concern among its inhabitants Mariupol following the latest developments and escalating tensions in Ukraine.
