Netanyahu railed against the International Criminal Court, which he accused of anti-Semitism, in a televised speech. The Israeli prime minister said that the “absurd and false” warrant of the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court “is directed against the entire state of Israel.”

“The warrant is against the soldiers of the Israeli army, who are fighting with supreme heroism against the vile killers of Hamas,” Netanyahu said.

ICC Prosecutor General Karim Khan has not issued arrest warrants, but announced his intention earlier Monday to seek them from the court for Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallad, along with three top Hamas leaders.

“With what chutzpah (audacity) dare you compare the monsters of Hamas to the soldiers of the IDF, of the most moral army in the world?’ Netanyahu asked. “With what audacity do you compare between Hamas who murdered, burned, slaughtered, rapedand kidnapped our brothers and sisters, and the soldiers of the IDF who are waging a just war that is unparalleled, with a morality beyond compare?’

Netanyahu has said he refuses “disgusted” Khan’s looming comparison (Israeli leadership to Hamas), calling it “a complete distortion of reality” arguing is an example “new anti-Semitism” which has been transferred from the campuses in The Hague’.

The Israeli prime minister promised the Israeli public that the “effort of the ICC to tie our hands will fail”that no international forum will “stop us from striking those who seek our destruction” and that Israel will overthrow Hamas and achieve “total victory.”
