The developments on his war front are dramatic Kharkiv, in Ukraine, as Russian forces, with the support of their air force and missile systems, are advancing towards the city of Kharkiv, while they have already taken under their control a large part of the region of the same name. According to the latest responses from international news agencies, the Russian army “broke” the first line of defense of Ukrainians and is heading towards the city of Kharkiv.

As international media reported, the Russians “opened the way” for the ground forces with a fierce wave of missile attacks on Ukrainian defense structures and positions in the region.

The Russian missile barrage killed at least seven civilians, including five women who worked at a company that was bombed. A further 16 people were injured by Russian shelling south of Kharkiv city centre, while another seven were injured elsewhere.

Russian forces hit with missiles and the railroad network of the region, in order to cut off the supply of the Ukrainian army.

The Russian army is attempting to recapture the Kharkiv region and create a large security zone across the border and Ukrainian territory to prevent Kiev’s missile attacks on Russian border areas.
