The Dutch police announced that a 41 year old American woman she was arrested on suspicion of possession drugs, but did not name the singer. A statement given to the PA agency by Dutch police confirmed that the woman remained in custody on Saturday night.
The music star posted a series of messages to X apparently in relation to the incident.
“They took my luggage without consent”, he wrote in a message. In another he added ironically: “This is Amsterdam btw [παρεμπιπτόντως]where “weed” is legal’.
The artist is said to he was getting ready to fly to Manchester to sing at the Co-op Live venue on Saturday night.
