The US will provide a new military support in Ukraine$ 350 million, to help Kiev fight the Russian invasion, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced today.
“This assistance will include new military means of defense, which will enable Ukraine to combat the armored, airborne and other threats it faces today,” Blinken said in a press release.
“It’s another clear message that USA “They are on the side of the Ukrainian people at a time when they are defending their sovereign, courageous and proud nation.”
He recalled that the United States had disbursed $ 60 million in military aid to Ukraine in the autumn, after an additional $ 200 million in December, “while the (Russian) threat was being carried out.”
“With the $ 350 million announced today, that amount is ‘more than $ 1 billion in total US security assistance to Ukraine,'” he said.
