Three members of Hezbollah were killed today in an Israeli airstrike in the village of Yaroun, in the southern part of Lebanonaccording to the Xinhua news agency citing sources in the Lebanese security forces.

As reported in Xinhua, an Israeli military aircraft launched four missiles against a house in the center of Yaroun, where the three members of the movement were killed. Among the victims is a local official named Hassan Mohammed Ali Saab.

In another Israeli airstrike, four civilians were injured in the village of Hiam (southeast).

Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, there have been almost daily hostilities between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, which backs the Palestinian Islamist movement. Since then, Israeli strikes in Lebanon have killed at least 540 people, of whom it has been confirmed about 100 were civilians, according to Xinhua citing sources in the Lebanese security forces. At the same time, in Israel 26 people have been killedfifteen soldiers and eleven civilians, according to Israeli authorities.

It is estimated that nearly 150,000 residents of border areas, along Israel’s border with Lebanon, have fled their homes due to the conflicts.
