A new investigation by the journalistic website Fanpage revealed phenomena of anti-Semitism, racism and homophobia within the youth of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s “Brothers of Italy” party.

An “undercover” journalist managed to infiltrate this organization and record meetings during which various members expressed themselves in a clearly racist and anti-Semitic manner.

“The Jews are a caste, they live by exploiting the Holocaust. There are many of them and I loathe them as a race. Because it is a race, there is the Aryan, the Jewish and the black race,” one of Meloni’s party youth registrants is heard saying.

At the same time, with reference to the senator Ester Mieli, member of the Brothers of Italy and former representative of the Jewish community of Rome, a girl, president of a local organization of the “National Youth” of the “Brothers of Italy”, tells her like-minded people:

“The coolest thing yesterday was the banter when we were talking about the swastikas. And after all that, I also wrote the press release in support of Ester Mieli…”.

The Italian Prime Minister so far he did not want to be mentioned in the content of the Fanpage survey and the relevant statements of the “National Youth” youth. However, the president of the Italian Senate, Ignazio La Russa (one of the founding members of the Brothers of Italy) condemned this anti-Semitic delusion of Mussolini’s nostalgia.

“I express my solidarity with the senator and friend Ester Mieli, who was the target of unacceptable expressions by some members of the National Youth. Phrases that go against the values ​​of our party, which have deep roots in the principles of democracy, freedom and respect for human dignity,” stressed La Russa. In the meantime, the head of the local organization and member of the council of “National Youth” resigned from her duties.
