Regarding the closure of European airspace, Mr. Kasoulides noted that the consent of Cyprus is given without prejudice to its right to review and / or review the implementation of this decision, in case Turkey refuses to proceed with the closure of its own airspace and proceed with the instrumentalization of this European decision, with the aim of attracting and / or transporting Russian citizens to the occupied territories.

It is noted that President Nikos Anastasiadis had a telephone conversation with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on the same subject.
