Watch videos of Ukrainian military in the resistance against the invasion of Russia

by

Ukrainian soldiers have been recording with their cell phones actions against Russian fighters who invaded their country last Thursday (24).

Much of what circulates on the internet is either fake, or refers to other conflicts, but the sheet obtained from a person with contacts in the Armed Forces of Ukraine some videos circulating in the Moscow political analyst community, which validated them.

They are short pieces. In one, a young soldier named Dima Ivanov is forced to identify himself and name his commander, allegedly killed in action.

In others, Russian armored vehicles with the Z symbol painted on the bodywork, to differentiate them from vehicles also of Soviet origin used by Ukraine, are destroyed.

There are very graphic footage of Ukrainian soldiers making offensive remarks about the bodies of two dead Russian soldiers, and a video shows a Ukrainian soldier attacking a Russian T-72B3 tank. There are scenes of patrols being attacked, but then it is not possible to discern who is who.

The image is far away, but as there is only one man in the scene, it could be an RPG (rocket-propelled grenade) launcher. The famous American anti-tank Javelin missiles, which the US supplied to the Ukrainians over the past year, in theory need two soldiers: one to carry the heavy (22 kg) launch equipment and the other to use a thermal sight that will guide the rocket to the target.

The scenes were recorded, according to the source of the videos, in regions around Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, and Kharkiv, the country’s second largest city. There is no way to establish this by the images, probably recorded on Friday (25) and Saturday (26).
