Following the announcement by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump that he has chosen J. D. Vance as his vice president should he win the election in November, US President Joe Biden criticized the senator from Ohio for aspiring to tax the middle class while favoring the wealthy.
In a social media post, the Democratic president said that despite his “big words” for the working class, the Ohio senator and Trump “they want to raise taxes on middle class households but cut them on the rich».
