Kamala Harris has released the first video of her bid for the White House, with her staff seeking to project the image of a moderate centrist politician in response to his attacks Donald Trump and Republicans who portray her as a radical liberal.

The video shows Harris at her first major rally at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this week, paired with images of Trump and his running mate J. De Vance in order to underline the opposition ahead of the November elections.

“There are some people who think we should be a country of chaos, fear, hate. But we, we choose something different, we choose freedom,” Harris says in the video, which features Beyoncé’s hit song “Freedom.”

“Freedom not just to get by, but to move forward. The freedom to be safe from gun violence. The freedom to make decisions about your own body,” she adds, referring to abortion, a key issue for Democrats as they accuse Republicans of curtailing women’s reproductive rights.
