It was “a bullet that hit my ear and it hit it hard,” ex-President Trump says
Donald Trump has slammed the FBI as the FBI confirmed it is investigating if he was actually hit by a bulletor from a fragment, during the attempted assassination in Pennsylvania.
In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump furiously dismissed FBI chief Christopher Wray’s reports questioning his judgment on other current issues — including Biden’s mental state.
“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday (Thursday) that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass or a bullet (the FBI never checked!)” he commented.
“But he was confident that dishonest Joe Biden was physically and cognitively “unproblematic” – Wrong! That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our country at record levels.”
“No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel,” he insisted.
“The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear,’ and that was it. No wonder the once famous FBI has lost America’s trust!” concluded the former president.
Donald Trump also said he hoped the US would “wipe” Iran off the map, “off the face of the Earth,” if it is assassinated by Tehran, he said Thursday, a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to the ” this threat.
“If they do ‘kill President Trump,’ which is always a possibility, I hope America will wipe Iran out, wipe it off the face of the Earth,” the former president and White House candidate said via Truth Social.
“If they don’t, the American leaders they will be considered cowards!“, he added.
Last Wednesday, in his speech to the US Congress, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized that “as we have recently learned, they (including Iran) shamelessly threaten to assassinate President Trump”.
US authorities reportedly received information a few weeks ago that Tehran was plotting against Mr Trump, and decided to step up security measures against him.
Iran categorically denied the “vicious” accusation.
