‘Little but big’ 10-year-old hero who saved mum from abusive partner moves Italy
The story of a child who showed courage and reflexes to help his mother has caused sensation and emotion in Italy.
As the press writes, the little boy (whose name, of course, has not been released) called the corresponding Italian EMS to report that his mother was the victim of violent behavior by her partner and to request that an ambulance be sent immediately.
It all happened in Afragola, a few kilometers outside of Naples.
However, as the minutes passed and the situation became more and more critical, the little boy decided to go down the street in search of help.
He was able to find and stop a patrol car and immediately lead the officers to his home.
This whole story was made known by the municipal councilor Antonio Iacetta, who congratulated the Italian police and condemned their behavior “of this small, but so great hero».
The police escorted the mother of this courageous child to the hospital while, as the Italian media points out, “all the necessary measures were taken so that her violent partner could not do her any more harm».
“Now we hope that the social services of our municipality will stay by the side of this family in the future so that she will not suffer any kind of abuse again“, the municipal councilor from Lower Italy wrote on social media.
