Russian attack with an unmanned aircraft (drone) during the night caused damage to critical infrastructure in the region Venicein the central Ukraineas a local official announced today.

Ukraine’s Air Force said it shot down 24 of 29 Shahed-type drones launched by Russia in the nighttime attack over nine regions.

Russian forces also fired two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and two Kh-31 missiles, according to the Air Force.

The governor in the district of Kherson Alexander Prokudin stated that air defense shot down five drones in his area today. According to him, Russian attacks in the area the previous day hit critical infrastructure, an administrative building and nine residences.

The governor of Mikolaif, O Vitali Kimsaid one of the drones shot down by air defenses started a fire in outbuildings, which was later extinguished, and there were no reports of casualties.
