A few days after a post went viral about former Miss Ukraine Anastasia Lena holding a weapon in a military uniform, the model clarified whether she has joined the Ukrainian army.
In her viral post, the former beauty queen received positive comments online as most assumed that she had joined the Ukrainian army to fight the Russians.
In a new post, Leena, who represented Ukraine in the Miss Grand International pageant in 2015, makes it clear that she did not really go to any army and that her previous post was intended to inspire.
“I am not a military man, just a woman, just a normal person,” he said. “Just a man, like all the people of my country.”
“I do not do any propaganda other than to show that our woman in Ukraine is strong, confident and strong,” Leena added.
“I appreciate all the attention and support for my country, all the people in Ukraine who are fighting every day against Russian aggression.
We will win! I was born and live in Kyiv. This is my town. Ukraine is my country. On February 24, the Russian Federation invaded our territories and began killing civilians, women and children. The Ukrainian people have no guilt. None of us has any guilt. We are in our lands! I speak to all the people of the world! Stop the war in Ukraine! No one should die! We can stop all this together. “Share information about the situation …. Help us Ukrainians to stop the Russian aggression”, the model states in her post, among other things.
