As the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reports, the Ukrainian military has designated August 6, 2024, the day the Kursk raid began, as a “historic” day.
“Careful preparation, planning, fighting spirit and secrecy were decisive in the initial phase of the operation,” Ukrinform reported.
For its part, the newspaper “Ukrainska Pravda” also collected another video posted on the Facebook social network of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade of Ukraine.
It shows the destruction by the Ukrainian army of a border post where 50 Russian soldiers were captured, who surrendered before the attack by Ukrainian troops on Sukha.
In addition, the Ukrainian military shot down three Iranian-made “Shahed” drones and two “unidentified” drones in a Russian airstrike in which the Russian Federation military also used three ballistic missiles, local authorities said.
