Kyiv has become a ghost town after the constant attacks of the Russians. Earlier, a loud explosion was heard, as reported by the SKAI envoy.

Roadblocks have been set up in Independence Square, while Ukrainian soldiers are on standby. It is the last line of defense of Kiev. In other places they have planted mines on the road.

THE Curfew starts at 8 in the morning. The streets are empty and the citizens are hiding in underground shelters to be saved.

Meanwhile, Russia’s armed forces have seized the Zaporizhia nuclear plant in southeastern Ukraine, local officials said today.

“Operational personnel are monitoring the condition of the reactors,” they said on social media, adding that efforts to ensure operation were following safety rules.

Ukraine announced that the Russian forces bombed the nuclear plant in the early hours of Friday, causing a fire in his building. The fire was extinguished earlier this morning.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – who had contacts with US President Biden – has accused Russia of “nuclear terrorism”, saying it wanted to “repeat” the Chernobyl disaster.

“I ask you to come to your senses, immediately stop firing at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.”

“We warn the world that no country other than Russia has ever opened fire on nuclear power plants. It is the first time in our history, the first time in the history of mankind. “This terrorist state is now resorting to nuclear terrorism,” Zelenski said.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian emergency services announced that the fire at the nuclear plant broke out in a building used for training of workers, outside the perimeter of the facility.

The plant’s manager said no radioactive leaks were detected from any of the reactors.
